Giancarlo Furlanetto is a Brazilian 3D artist and graphic designer based in Amsterdam whose practice investigates the relationship between technology, consciousness, and the invisible forces that shape human experience.

Working across film, digital sculpture, animation, immersive environments, and visual storytelling, he explores how contemporary technological systems mirror historical and spiritual attempts to understand unseen dimensions of reality.

His research draws from literature on artificial intelligence, cybernetics, media theory, and spiritism, examining how networks, algorithms, and digital infrastructures can be understood as contemporary counterparts to metaphysical concepts of interconnectedness and influence.

Inspired by the media theories of Marshall McLuhan and spiritist traditions rooted in the work of Allan Kardec, he investigates the ways invisible systems mediate perception, memory, belief, and agency.
